Official Opening of the London European Space Expo focusing on: 'Space Solutions for Assisted Living' on the occasion of the 2012 UN International Day for Persons with Disabilities


Date: 3 December 2012, 17:30 - 19:30
Place: European Space Expo, Horse Guards Parade, St. James Park, London

This unique event will bring together high level personalities from government, industry and national and international NGOs with the press and interested parties to showcase the many space applications being developed that support greater independence and safety for citizens with disabilities and special needs. The event will include:
  • Demonstrations of a select number of innovative space-fuelled applications for persons with disabilities and special needs
  • Speeches by key officials
  • Press conference & reception

17:30: Doors open: demonstrations of Space Applications developed to support a range of assisted living needs, tour of the European Space Expo

17:45: Speeches by key officials

18:30: Q&A, followed by Tour of European Space Expo & Reception
